I picked this article because, I think it ties into a lot of the subjects tied into parks book we have read over the past few weeks. A mentor is someone you can look up to, trust and someone that you admire in life. This has a lot to do with depending on someone, morals and also trust! It is not only important to have a mentor but also to be one for someone else. My mentor is my mother I admire everything she does in life, she is a good mother, a good listener, a hard works & most of all a good friend. She is everything I want to be when I become a mother as well. I have also realized within the past few years that I am a mentor for my brother. I came to find this out when he became a dad at the age of 20. I guided him in the right direction and helped him to get a good job to support his family, It is a good feeling to know that he can trust me and look up to me.

I thought everyone would like this article because, I think it is very important to have a mentor while attending college because, making decisions on your own can sometimes be hard. In the book it talked a lot about maturity and imagination. I feel as if anyone can do anything in life if they have the will!
